Alpha and Omega are the first and the last letters of the Greek alphabet. The alphabet allows to formulate, describe and communicate ideas, concepts, and knowledge in written form. NT writers spoke and wrote their books in Greek.
The phrase is used in Revelation to describe Jesus. "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty" (Rev. 1:8 see also Rev.21:6, 22:13, NASB). Jesus encompasses all wisdom and knowledge. He is the Creator. He is the source of all truth. Only knowing Christ gives the fullness of knowledge for our personal righteous living and preparing others for an effective ministry.
KTS is about Jesus. He is at the core of our educational ministry. His Word is foundational for our academic programs. We prepare believers who focus on Jesus and care for other people. They apply truth to their lives and can communicate how it can apply to lives of other people, their churches and unreached peoples.
