Mission:
Mission of Pastoral and Chaplaincy Leadership program is to develop in students sound theological understanding of the Bible to effectively exercise Pastoral and Chaplain care among people operating under conditions where meeting their social and religious needs is limited.

Vision:
To see in Ukraine pastors and chaplains, who by means of Gods Word and required social assistance, serve people operating in armed forces camps, hospitals, police departments and fire brigades, detention facilities and other places restricted to the church.

Goals:

  1. To prepare chaplains to be able to meet spiritual and social needs of people in circumstances with limited opportunities to satisfy their social and religions needs.
  2. To train chaplains to serve outside of their local churches.
  3. To train students in the areas of evangelism, counselling and discipleship in reliance on the Holy Spirit to minister the Word of God to people in challenging circumstances with confidence and courage.
  4. To teach the students how to use effective methods of evangelism and to train other believers to share the Good News in challenging circumstances.
  5. To introduce the students to the specifics of pastor-chaplain ministry cooperating with chaplains from different denominations.
  6. To help the students acquire unique skills necessary for a pastor-chaplain in the areas of preaching, teaching, administration and counselling.

The curriculum for Pastoral and Chaplain Leadership program includes Biblical, theological and practical aspects designed to prepare the student to effective ministry as Pastor-Chaplain in his own country or abroad. The goal is to provide a balance between academic information received in classrooms and practical application of spiritual truth to those needing spiritual care under challenging circumstances.
