Kyiv Theological Seminary welcomed active chaplains in military from all around Ukraine for annual chaplain training. The seminar for chaplains of the All Ukrainian Union of Associations of Evangelical Christians-Baptists took place on January 24-26, 2018.
It is the purpose of Kyiv Theological Seminary to go beyond mere education defined as knowledge dissemination. The seminary strives to inspire students to implement in their local churches via convenient educational form what they learn in the classroom.

Brother Olexander Savchenko, a graduate of KTS, was ordained for deacon ministry on December 10, 2017. The ordination ceremony took place in Revival Church, Fastiv city, which is located in 60 km (37 miles), southwest from Kyiv. Pastor Mykola Ponomaryov (Kyiv) and Pastor Igor Bugayov (Fastiv) led the ceremony.
500 years have passed since the beginning of Reformation in Europe. October 31, 1517, when a Catholic monk Martin Luther nailed his famous "95 Theses" to the gates of the Wittenberg Church is considered to be beginning of the Reformation. These theses concerned the abuses within the Catholic Church and practice of selling indulgences that promised forgiveness of sins for money and not as result of true repentance. The ideology of what was later called the Reformation can be summarized in these five theses: only the Scripture, only faith, only grace, only Christ and all glory only to God.
