Dear friends! Thanksgiving is more than the festivities. It gives us time to look back at all the great
things and good people who came in our lives and ministry...

500 years have passed since the beginning of Reformation in Europe. October 31, 1517, when a Catholic monk Martin Luther nailed his famous "95 Theses" to the gates of the Wittenberg Church is considered to be beginning of the Reformation. These theses concerned the abuses within the Catholic Church and practice of selling indulgences that promised forgiveness of sins for money and not as result of true repentance. The ideology of what was later called the Reformation can be summarized in these five theses: only the Scripture, only faith, only grace, only Christ and all glory only to God.

Last week, October 21-22, NGO Olive Branch Ukraine and the baccalaureate program of the Kyiv Theological Seminary "Pastoral and Chaplain's Leadership" held a women's conference "God seeks for the faithful and makes them capable." The conference invited female soldiers and women who serve to the military or have a military background.

The Women's Conference "Syta Lady" was held at the Kyiv Theological Seminary at the end of October 2017. The topic of the conference was spiritual formation of women.

Last week Kyiv Theological Seminary welcomed guests, dear friends from the Faith Church, which is in Indianapolis, IN. The church is a longtime partner of the seminary. Our friends had the opportunity to meet with students and staff of the seminary.
